Books I Read in 2018

Happy Sunday and Happy New Year to you! I know I’ve been gone for a minute, but I am back and feeling inspired to write. I had to get a new laptop and change-up a few things to get back into the groove, but there is so much I need to share with you all, however, today I will be sharing the books I read in 2018. Twenty-eighteen was a particularly interesting year and I am happy to have made it to 2019! So many new goals to accomplish and books to read.

Last year I joined the Atlanta Fulton Public Library system by getting my library card. What I love about the Atlanta system is that they have a large online database where card holders can access ebooks and audiobooks right from their smartphones. Geeshian and I take full advantage of the library apps, Libby & Overdrive. Using the apps, we have the convenience of adding books to our “bookshelf,” checking out books, and recommending books to the library that they do not have. All ebooks are filtered through Kindle, but if you already have an Amazon account, and the Kindle app already downloaded, the transition from the library app to reading the book is seamless.

Lastly, if you do not have a card to your local library I suggest you sign up. Not only will you have access to thousands of book titles, but you’d also have access to the internet and possibly free tickets to local attractions like the Zoo and Aquarium. To join the library is FREE and documentation of residency is required.

I made a goal this year to read 12 books or one book a month by December 31st and I definitely think I can reach that goal. Here is my list of books I completed or started in 2018. Let me know in the comments if you’ve read some of these books and what books you’d recommend I read in 2019.
