Happy FounderZ Day to all of my sorors worldwide! We are officially 2 years away from our centennial celebration, but today, we honor our founders: Arizona Cleaver, Fannie Pettie, Myrtle Tyler, Viola Tyler, and Pearl A. Neal for the inception of our illustrious sorority. 98 years ago, the recipe for sisterhood was perfected.
I have been a member of this organization for 6 years! I pledged Psi Beta chapter at Grambling State University with 11 other amazing women. Together we crossed as “The 12 S.P. of B.L.U.” I am the DIME of the line, the #10! EFFERVEZENT KITTY is the name and strolling was my thaannnggg. No, but seriously, if you attended Gram between 2012 and 2015 then you know that the Zetas ran the yard! We won all of the spring step shows and always placed for The Bayou Classic: Battle of the Bands. Asamatterafact! My chapter took home first place at Bayou in 2017!
Thank you to our founders for paving the way for so many us to carry the legacy of Scholarship, Service, and Sisterly Love!
Check out some of my fondest memories in undergrad. There are sooooo many and it was hard to choose! Enjoy!
